Christian contemporary music has experienced significant change over time.The origins of this relatively new genre can be traced to the Jesus Movement of the late 60’s. Bands just like Larry Norman paved the way for the huge popularity of today's christian music performers. Throughout that phase there had been also songs launched on the mainstream airwaves which praised Jesus and thereby delivered his message to an even wider audience.
